All ingredients used in our menu are top quality, always giving priority to local produce directly sourced around the province of Cadiz: bomba rice (top juice-absorbing variety, from best rice-growing place in Spain, Valencia), fresh fish and shellfish caught in our Bay, juicy Iberian and Retinto delicatessen meat cuts. All of these can be paired with your choices of wine from our carefully selected wine list. It has been designed so you can find the perfect complement for each occasion – please do ask our kind staff for advice.

We have a gluten-free menu, available on request. The dishes marked in yellow can be prepared without gluten.

STARTERS

  • Salted anchovy and marinated fresh anchovy on a thick toasted artisan bread

  • Home-made red scorpionfish, tomato and cream pate served with tomato marmalade

  • Pedrosillano chickpea and squid stew cooked and served in a small pan

  • Cantábrico Sea Salted Anchovies (8 fillets)

  • Deep-fried home-made seafood, shellfish and béchamel sauce croquettes served with home-made tomato sauce

  • Deep-fried floured baby squid

  • Fresh Local Anchovies lightly Floured, fried and served in a Skewer

  • Deep-fried breaded dogfish (marinated in a delicious paprika, oregano, garlic and vinegar mixture)

  • Trammelnet-caught local cuttlefish cooked in the Cádiz style

  • Deep-fried home-made crispy tiny shrimp, onion, parsley and chickpea flour fritters

  • Shellfish soft bites stewed in a pea, clam, lemon, black pepper and parsley sauce

  • Our Special Fresh Local Fish and Seafood Platter, Fried to Order for two people

  • Home-made Duck Foie Terrine with marmalade

  • Squid and Pedrosillano chickpea stewed in wine sauce

OUR CLASSICS

  • Cured free-range acorn-fed Iberian pig ham, very thinly sliced

  • Local freshly boiled or grilled prawn (200 grs // 7 oz)

  • Freshly boiled king prawn from Sanlúcar de Barrameda (served in their shell) (200 grs // 7 oz)

  • Red king prawn, cooked to your choice: flat-iron grilled or in their own juices (roast-salt) (price per 100 grs) (150-180 grs per piece)

  • Jumbo prawns pan-fried with garlic and extra virgin olive oil

OUR SALADS

  • Gourmet Classic Salad (mixed leaves, tomato wedges, boiled egg, melva -fish similar to tuna-, grated carrot, olives, asparagus)

  • Sliced boiled octopus leg and potato in an extra virgin olive oil and Dijon mustard light dressing (lightly warm)

  • Home-made local garden vegetable paella-style rice

  • Paella-style rice with cuttlefish and squid-ink sauce served with home-made garlic mayonnaise

MEAT DISHES
